Search Problem

1. The “search” icon in the header pops up and has a preset field that says, “Search Products and knock Enter Key.” This needs to not only be corrected but there needs to be a way for us to change it. How can I fix this improper statement?

2. When using the search to try and find products by tags, it doesn’t work. I literally have to type in something from the product title to get anything to come up. How to fix this?

3. I want to change the way the search results display. How to fix this?

1. I will add a new option that allows the user to change the placeholder text in the next version (Will release it today)

3. If you want to customize the search page, you’d better copy search.php to the child theme folder, then add your own custom codes.

Still waiting on the search change update.

Also, why isn’t the search finding tags from the EDD downloads? It will show post and page search results but if I type in an EDD downloads tag, it says, “Nothing Found.”

Please go to Appearance > Themes, update the theme to v1.2.9

Then you can edit the search placeholder text in Theme options > General Settings.

I tested the search feature on the demo site https://dgwork.co/default the search result is the product information.
