Creating Gallery with already uploaded images

How do I create a gallery with images that are already in my media library?

Did you mean you want to create a gallery like slideshow as this demo post http://demo.themevan.com/oldcar/2013/06/22/classic-style-cars/ ?
If I understand correctly, you should select “gallery” for this post format, then just upload the images into this post, after you uploaded, just close the media window without click insert into post button, save the post.
