  Just put the following CSS into “OldCar Options > Additionals > Additional code”
```
#sidebar {background:#89c544 url(http://www.bluedogwebdesign.co.nz/whyfitness/wp-content/uploads/gradient.png) repeat-x 0 0;}
```

  I put this into “OldCar Options > Custom Codes > CSS Codes” to make it work.
