Display featured image on single post page

Hi there

Until recently, I used a plugin to display my featured image on single posts (i.e. the featured image that I use for the portfolio page). That plugin has become fiddly and frustrating so I am wondering if the oldcar theme itself supports that function. Now that I have deactivated the plugin, the featured image appears on my front page (as per the theme) but not on single posts.
