      Hi,

I’m not sure if this because of the theme so sorry if I’m directing this to the wrong place! I have a couple of issues with the edit profile page.

      1. If I’m logged in and go to edit profile and try to change my password, if the 2 new passwords don’t match a red error just saying “undefined’ pops up.

      2. If I then click the logout button, I get “You are attempting to log out of Mark Hatter Music Production Do you really want to log out?”

The logout button works without this prompt at other times.

      3. If the passwords do match and I click save (or if I update any other information in my profile, it works but there is nothing on the screen to tell the user that the change has been saved.

      Thanks
      Mark

      Hi

      Thanks for your feedback!

I have fixed all these issues in the new version, now you can update your theme via Appearance > Themes.

      Thanks

      Hi,

I have updated the theme but the issue still exists. Do I need to do anything in the child theme?

      Thanks

      Hi,

I’m quite concerned that this issue keeps re-appearing. How did it come back last time after you made a change directly in my theme?
I can only assume that it’s because of something I’m doing either with custom CSS or with php?

I am getting close to wanting to make this site live so I’d be really grateful if this could be resolved and also, if you could let me know what the issue is so I can make sure it doesn’t happen again.

      Thanks
      Mark

      Hi,

I just noticed that the error that appears when the password don’t match doesn’t read very well.

Please can you let me know where I can change what it says.

      Currently it says –
      The password is inconsistent twice

I would prefer it to say –
The passwords you have entered do not match.

Can I change this in a PHP file in the backend somewhere?

      Thanks

Sorry, also if you change your password (or any other info in your profile), there is no indication on the screen that it’s been sucessfully changed.
I would expect to see a message somewhere just saying, your password was sucessfully changed etc.

      Thanks again

      Hi

Yes, please update the theme to v1.6.9 via Appearance page. I have changed the text and added the success information.

      Thanks

Actually, I see the message “Your password was sucessfully changed.” even if I change the address or any other field.

Please can this be fixed as I need to go live with this website soon.

      Thanks
      Mark

Can I get an update please?

This fix has not resolved the issue!

      Hi,

Thanks for the link. How do I upgrade the theme from this? Do I need to remove the old one first?

      Thanks
      Mark

    • #25099

      Hi

If you have registered the purchase code via Appearance > Registration, you can one click to upgrade the theme via Appearance > Themes page.
If the auto theme update doesn’t work on your site, you may have to delete the old parent theme and reinstall the new version, please backend the old version if you have changed any files.

      Thanks,

I removed the old theme on my test site and installed the new one but I still see this issue.

If I edit my profile for example and change my address, the message says – Your password was sucessfully changed.

This obviously doesn’t make sense 🙂

I have given you access (same credentials as before) so you can see it here – https://tobykay.com/markh

      Thanks

It now just says “undefined” like it did in the first place!

    • #25178

I rechecked this issue again, but it works fine on my test site. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1knntbzt7mvhoiw/FireShot%20Capture%20001%20-%20Account.png?dl=0

Can I still log in your backend to check the theme files?

      Hi,

I tried it this morning and it works! Very strange.

Thanks, you can close this one now.
