ParticipantHi, I would like to edit the main footer through a page instead of widgets. I have been using another WordPress theme which allows to edit the footer area as a page and I really like because it give a lot of flexibility with WPBakery builder.
I wonder if DGWorks have this option and if not, will you be able to add this function?
As always, thanks for your support and feedback. -

KeymasterHi
I updated ThemeVan Shortcodes plugin to 1.1.9, and I have tested it on my local dev server (PHP 7.0), no errors.
I don’t know what is the tool you use to test, so please test again by yourself.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi
Please go to Appearance > Themes, update DGWork to v1.3
Go to Appearance > Plugins, update ThemeVan Shortcodes to v1.2.1Then, you will see the “Content Block” will be added to the admin menu. You can create a new content block for the custom footer, and then, go to Appearance > Widgets, drag a content block widget to the custom footer area, and select your content block.
You can also hide the default footer via Appearance > Themes options > General settings.
Documentation is here: http://www.themevan.com/docs/dgwork/#content-block
Thanks

ParticipantI have complete all steps and it’s working fine, but in “content block” there is no Visual Composer? That would help to edit the content nicely. If you can add it I think we would all appreciate.
As always thank you so much for your professional support! -

KeymasterHi
Fixed, please check.
I made the content block post type public now, but it’s not a perfect solution, I will fix this issue in the next version of ThemeVan Shortcodes.
Thanks
