Gallery Issue / Portfolio post with VC

Hello BadJohnny,

Is there a way to use the Visual Composer creating a Portfolio post?
What i’m trying to do is insert a gallery with a carousel, like you did here: http://demo.themevan.com/samsara/2014/02/08/image-carousel-with-visual-composer
As a portfolio post, the gallery opens images only one by one, without “previews / next ” buttons on lightbox.

If I follow you correct, please do it as the following steps.

1. Go to “Settings > Visual Composer > Content types”, select “Portfolio” type.
2. Go to “Portfolios > Add Portfolio” or edit the portfolio, look at the “portfolio setting” area below the visual editor, you will find this option “Disable the slideshow in this portfolio”, select “Yes”.
3. Then, click “Visual Composer” button(Backend mode) which is on top left of the visual composer.
4. Create “image Carousel” element and upload images.

Thanks, but this is not the solution I seek.

What i did:

1) I’ve created a Portfolio Post
2) Uploaded images to a gallery
3) Disabled the slideshow in this portfolio – “Yes”
4) Published

On image click, a lightbox appears with a single image:

What i want is a lightbox like this one, with arrows, thumbs, play slideshow, next and prev buttons, etc.

Ah, one more thing:

I managed to translate almost every word of the theme, but can’t find some words.
Can you tell me where to find these words to translate manually the correct files?

What i need:

1) Portfolio default category “All” (http://lucianoamaral.com/galeria)
2) Search screen
3) Blog: “« Previous Post” and “Next Post »”

Sorry to bother you, but i found another issue.
Since yesterday, the autor’s photo is not appearing at blog post. Now it’s blank.
I don’t know what happened, because i didn’t change any configuration.

For all the text you mentioned in previous reply, you can find them in the language file (po file in language folder).
Please download this single.php file, https://www.dropbox.com/s/becpzzl20175ibc/single.php.zip upload it to your theme folder and override the old file.

For “Is possible to change the default background color (#ffffff) to other or an image?”

If you want to change the background color or use a image to instead of the solid background color, you need to add your custom CSS, for example

body{background-color:#ccc;}

Or 

body{background:url(image_URL);}

I see, the theme doesn’t support group the images into the wordpress gallery (It’s different from the theme portfolio gallery) by default.
But I think you can try to install colorbox wordpress plugin http://www.techotronic.de/plugins/jquery-colorbox/

After you active this plugin, it will automatically to group all images into a gallery group. The demo here: http://www.techotronic.de/plugins/jquery-colorbox/colorbox-wordpress-gallery-demo/
