Header Issues

Custom header text and tagline are not showing on the blog page. Works everywhere else just fine. Also tried using the header image field, but that image set in there wouldn’t override the default one I have set.

The video player in the portfolio in the fullscreen header is only about 150px tall when viewing it in Firefox. Videos in the content are appropriately sized. As well, viewing the demo of the theme on your site and the fullscreen video header is just fine. Not sure what’s going wrong on my copy of the theme there.

Hi

I checked your site, but I can’t login your backend with that information, it says ERROR: Invalid username.
For video issue, I need to check your settings in portfolio post.

For first issue, before answer your question, I wanna know that how you create the News page? http://contactdesigners.com/client/shawnpiller/news/

There are two method to create the News page, which you did?

1. Create a page with “standard blog” template, if you made the News page as this method, you can try to set the custom page title and tagline in “page setting” section in the edit page screen.

2. You can create a new category called “News” in “Post > Categories”, when you add this category, you will find header image, category description, if you fill in these fields, they will show up in the header.

I followed the first method, using the ‘standard blog’ template and adding the information in the ‘page setting’ section.

Issue 1: Maybe there’s a bug in blog page template so that the custom title and tagline doesn’t display. I will fix it in the next version, and now, I used “news” category to instead “news” page on the menu, it’s normal.

Issue 2: I found you have added “.fullscreen_stage { height:350px;}” in the custom CSS code, this value will be override the default value in original CSS, so I added the following CSS into custom CSS code.

.single-portfolio .fullscreen_stage {height: 700px;}

You can adjust the height value by yourself.
