      Hi,

in one of our customer’s shop we’ve switched from another theme – incl. working shop based on easy digital download – to DGWork. we’ve installed the theme and child theme and activated the child theme. Now we’re experiencing issues and receiving HTTP 503 Error code (with NO further infos in logs) when doing one of following two actions:

      – within cart click on “remove” (so trying to remove an item from cart)
      – within product listing -> overlay of product image with “details” and “buy now” links -> click on “buy now”

adding products the usual way, meaning clicking on the “add to cart” link below the products image, everything works as expected.
Both issues did not occur with old theme. Can please anyone help?

      Thanks

      Hi

Do two sites install the same plugins? Because sometimes maybe it’s caused by a third-party plugin.
Also, can I check your site?

You mentioned “Both issues did not occur with old theme”, did you mean the old version of DGWork theme?

      Thanks

Hi and thanks for for your response.
No it was not an older version of DGWork before but a complete different theme. Everything worked regarding easy digital downloads as expected. We installed and configured DWWorks – the child theme which was part of that bundle is active – and now the two mentioned issues appear.

What exactly do you mean by “Do two sites install the same plugins?” ?
It’s a single wordpress instance. Easy digital downloads was already installed before we installed the DGWork theme.

referring to your request to check the affected site, it’s not that easy. We have to do that via private message or similar.

      Hi

You can post the website link as well as the temporary WordPress login details through the private reply, if possible.
Just set your reply as a private reply.

      Thanks

      Hi

After I deactivate W3 Total cache plugin, the issues are fixed.

So maybe you can try to use another cache plugin such as Autoptimize plugin or ask W3 Total cache plugin support.

      Thanks
