installation problem

hi, i tried installing the zip file on wordpress, but it keeps saying that the installation fails. so i tried unzipping it and putting the files directly in the wp-conent–>wp-themes folder on my server space. this only sort of worked. the theme showed up as a “broken theme” and said that the style sheet was missing. i’ve copied the text below. thanks.

Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

Name Description
OldCar_Theme_V1.6 Stylesheet is missing.

update–i read around and saw that some people recommended getting rid of any nested files, so i put them all in the main OldCar theme folder. The good news is that wordpress recognized the theme; the bad news is that when i activate it i get a giant white screen. any help would be appreciated!

You should upload the installation zip file but not the main zip file.
After you active the theme, for get white screen, I need to check your website first, can you show me your link?

that fixed it! i was uploading the whole zipfile. now what should i do with the rest of those folders?

Those folders is just PSD, dummy data and documentation, they are nothing to do with the installation.
