Hi there. I updated to wordpress 4.4. this morning and, alas, the old car theme stopped working (the sidebar is slowing but the posts are not).
I wonder if you can help?
Thanks.

Hi
I checked feimineach.com it’s not using OldCar theme any more.
Also, have you try to deactivate your plugins first and check again? Check whether it’s a plugin compatiblity issue or not.
Thanks

Hi John
Yes, sorry, meant to say, I had to take it off as I post to my site a lot and need it visible.
I am wondering if there is anything that can be done regardless?
Btw, have just disabled all plugins and tried the theme again (and also removed all CSS) but there was still nothing there.
Thanks.

Strange, could you post your link and WP login details here with private reply? I will debug it.
I tested the theme with WP4.4 on my local test website, it’s working fine.
Thanks

Hi John.
Thanks so much for that. I really don’t get it – all of the posts were gone when I updated (I promise!). All is well that ends well, I suppose.
Thanks again for your help!

I know, but I want to know how to reproduce this issue on my computer.
Could you try the following tests?1. Send me a screenshot when you open the site, I want to know how it is display on your computer.
2. What’s browser you used? Have you tried to clear the browser cache?
3. Please try to open the site on chrome, and click the right mouse button, view the page resource, copy those codes to a txt file and send it to me (badjohnny.woo[at]gmail[dot]com)
4. Try to check the website on the other computer, and see how about it.Please let me know the result.
Thanks

Hi John
Well, this has become embarrassing. I discovered as I was putting my widgets back together yesterday that it was actually a code in one widget that was causing the problem. It was the statcounter code. I had never had problems with it before, unless I did something to it, so that’s why I didn’t even think of it.
Sorry again about the needless fuss. Hope that helps.
Thanks.

Oh, maybe the code is conflict with the other part.
