Hello there again! I started building my site on top of the “Creative Home” template and everything has been going fine so far. I liked the subtle parallax effect that is present in the “About Us” section featured in the demo, and so I left it intact, and thought I only had to change the image file to achieve the effect in my site…
Bad idea. My version does not have the parallax effect, though it is set with “cover” and the only thing that I changed was the image file. I followed your video about parallax but there is something I must be doing wrong because I do all that you do and I get no parallax effect on my end. Can you help me?

Oh.. OK. Thank you very much for your help… but, are you sure it’s because of the Visual composer plugin? I mean, the parallax effect was working on the demo with your image before. It broke just as I changed the image file…

Hi
I have fixed these issues in the new version and V1.14 is available to download on themeforest, you can get it and reinstall the theme.
The reason is visual composer generate some shortcode CSS includes “background-position:center !important”, that’s why the parallax effect doesn’t work.
So, after you updated the theme, just edit the row, don’t set the background image to “cover”, just leave it “default”. The parallax will appear as normal.
Thanks

Hello BadJohnny! Thank you very much for the update. Updating did fix that “scroll to top” button on Firefox and tags now work as they should. The thing is, parallax effect on homepage still is dead. Changed the image setting to default and still not getting any movement.
What should I do now? Oh and I have another question. Visual Composer has a new version. How do we update? Could this be the reason why the parallax effect isn’t working?

Hi
I installed the latest version of visual composer to you.
The parallax is working fine now, I think because you have also set the background color for the section, so Visual composer has been generated some CSS to make my original CSS doesn’t work.
So, when I clear the background color, and only set the background image, then, all that is fine now.
Thank you!

Hey Badjohnny! Thank you very much! The parallax effect is working now. But please bare in mind that I didn’t change the color either. So you should check that bug out in case someone else falls into the same pit hole.
How can I update Visual Composer myself? Should I ask you to update it each time? I would also like to know how is the updating process of the Revolution slider as well.
Thank you very, very much pal for helping me out with the parallax effect. Cheers!

Hi
At first, I found you have set the background color, so I cancelled it.
I will include the new Visual Composer into the later version of the theme, so you can get the new version of Visual Composer from the new theme package.
Thanks
