Portfolio slug redirecting to Blog

Hi
Is it possible to change the slug for the custom portfolio posts?
I’m using a menu item with slug /portfolio/ but that is automatically redirecting to /blog/. I can only assume that comes from the custom post type or is it a bug?

If I can’t use portfolio, then for SEO purposes I would the the portfolio item URL should match.

I’d like to have /artwork/ and portfolio items using that as the base eg; /portfolio/painting1/ = /artwork/painting1/

If you are using the latest version, please go to “Samsara options > general setting > portfolios slug “, you can change it here.

If you still have problem, please don’t forget post your link here.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I’ve just uploaded the latest version and made the change to the slug in the settings like you said. Now that page is redirecting to the blog. I might have another setting wrong somewhere else?

It’s weird, all that is correct, have you changed any php file? or file name?

Nope, this is a fresh install and and I haven’t needed to change any files. Very weird.

I changed the page name and page slug “artwork” to “artworks”, it works fine.

You can’t make the page slug as same as the potfolio slug. It seems wordpress doesn’t allow.
