MemberHello, I recently purchased the Old Car theme to use for my blog, uploaded it to my ftp and am attempting to customize it. When I activate it (or even when I preview it), the arrangement is totally different from what it’s supposed to be – Instead of the vertical bar on the left side with social networks, menus etc., there is a horizontal bar on the top with just the logo and all the rest of it is below the posts. I just removed the old car theme folder from my ftp server and then re-installed it and it looks the same, with the bar on top. Also, when I uploaded my logo it just didn’t show – the OldCar logo remained.
Please tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it, thank you!

KeymasterHi
It seems that it shows a responsive version on your computer (iPad version), what’s the revolution of your screen? If the revolution is smaller than 1024X768(800), it will display the iPad version.
After you upload LOGO image, don’t forget click insert to the post button.
If you still have questions, please can you tell me you website link?
Thanks

KeymasterHi
Sorry for the delay..
I checked your website, it seems fine, just post my screenshot, is it different on your computer? -

MemberHmm. It looks like it’s just happening in Safariā¦ I opened it up in Chrome and it looks fine, as you are seeing it. But I still get the responsive theme (without my logo) in Safari, even after I deleted all website data, emptied my cache and cleared my history in Safari. I’m working on it in Chrome but it’s important that it works in Safari, of course!
A few other questions:
There is a lot of extra space above and below the main menu (in the sidebar, above the widgets). Is there a way to eliminate that?
Is there a way to change the background color of the body (i.e. If I want to make it white behind the blog posts).Thank you! Hope to hear from you soon.

KeymasterFor first question, it’s weird that I have checked it on safari and it’s normal too. What’s your safari version?
For the other questions, please add the following CSS into “OldCar options > Custom codes > CSS codes”.primary-navigation{margin-bottom:-40px;} body{background:#fff;}
Thanks
