I have created the app and got all API codes and tokens, but still the only thing I see on my homepage is the message “Please fill all widget settings!” – I simply dont know what to do?? I’m a little unsecure on what the “Twitter username” box needs? I’ve typed all kind of things, but now it is htpps://twitter.com/svadafilm – (svadafilm is the username) but it doesn’t work. What do I do from here?

Hi
Enter your username svadafilm. I’m not sure your settings, or you can post a screenshot of your setting here?
Actually, this is a third-party plugin (http://wordpress.org/plugins/recent-tweets-widget/screenshots/) I recommended in the theme, so it’s a third-party plugin issue so that I don’t know much about it, you can ask the plugin author or change the other tweets plugin. If you still want to use this plugin but you can’t set it up, can you tell me your all api codes and tokens and your wp login information here with private reply? I will try to help you.
Thanks

Hi
1. Your LOGO size is not the standard size, it seems 57x60px, so you should go to “Samsara options > General setting > custom LOGO width (and height)”, redefine the custom LOGO size. (I’ve already done.)
2. The map is nothing to do with the theme, Samsara theme is only provide a field where you can add the google map code in, so please go to map.google, com, get a right map(and map setting) code there.
3. The easy way is upload your mail icon to your website and add the icon / link to each member info text with img HTML tag manually. I will add email icon and option to the shortcode in the next version, because it need a lot of custom work.
Thanks!

1. This is your google map link, I can’t open it https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d2249.2018648581775!2d12.569605299999992!3d55.6854781!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x46525304f88dda13%3A0x517ae64e5c0c608a!2sGothersgade+151!5e0!3m2!1sda!2sdk!4v1394914865468
So I hope you can get the correct map code again. I tried to put my map code in your contact page, it works fine.
2. I have already updated the theme to V1.05 and it’s available to download on themeforest, I added email icon into [van_social_icon] shortcode that you can use.
Thanks

Hi
For example, you can use [van_social_icon] shortcode under the member intro like [van_social_icon email=”mailto:yourname@email.com]
🙂

I would like to place the social icons on a white background, and make them ‘dark’. But the new email icon and the instagram icon still remains “light” and not visible on a white background. what to do?

Just set color=”dark” in [van_social_icon] shortcode.
[van_social_icon color=”dark” email=”mailto:youremail@domain.com”]

Hi again – and thanks a lot for your help.
The logo is great now and I’ll try to see if I can make the Google Map work. I’ve tried everything, and a strange thing is, that when i load the “kontakt! page the first time it looks weird, but if I load another page, but then push the “back arrow” button on my web browser, and the “kontakt” page opens again – it looks perfect?? Any idea why?
Could you provide me with an example on an img HTML tag for an mail icon (I have NO idea of how to do that) Thats why I work in WordPress 🙂
But thanks again, great support!!!
Best Regards
Preben Lorentzen
