      Could someone tell me the easiest way to update the theme version.

      Hi

      You need to get the latest version from themeforest download page.

      Go to Appearance page,

      1. Switch the theme to another theme for a moment.
      2. Delete the old version of the theme.
      3. Reinstall the new version.

      Don’t forget backup your old theme.
