Username login on top menu

There is a way (directly on the theme, or with some plugin) to show the username on the top of the page when a visitor are logged in? (like wordpress dashboard, for example) Because is a little bit confuse if there is no changes in the web page to say: HEY, YOU ARE LOGGED IN! haha. If necessary we can talk about customization service that you offer, y really want this change on my web site. Thanks.

You want to replace Account text to username, right? Or do you prefer to display the username underneath the Account text?

In actually this is not what i mean.. but i like it. Both are good ideas, you can replace de Account Text or show underneath, do the easiest way, and i’ll aprecciate that.

But I want more… (again, if this is to much to do with the regular support, we can talk about service customization that you offer).

1 – First of all I really want change the color of the Account Icon on TOP MENU when someone are logged in… Then the visitor will easily recognize if are logged in, or not. (For Example: Blue Icon Account on TOP MENU if are logged in, and Black Icon Account when are not Logged in). That is cause I’ll work with sells and credit card informations.. the client needs easily recognize if are or not logged in..

2 – When I click on BUY NOW button, the web site automatically go to the CHECKOUT page, and i don’t want that. What i want is stay on the Shop Page, to keep putting products on the Shop Cart. I’ll work with low price products, and almost of the times, people buy 2 produts or more in the same purchase.

3 – Show the number of the products on the Shop Cart Icon on TOP MENU. So the customer will know if the product he wants was actually placed in the shop cart, and how many products he already has there…

I really need this 3 modifications, Thank you for the support!

About the point 2 – I found that option in the Easy Digitals Downloads Settings, you can forget about this.

New issue: On the Shop Grid, where show all my products http://arquivo3d.com/index.php/shop/, when i put the mouse on the product photo show me two buttons: DETAILS and BUY NOW. I cant translate this buttons.. I translate all the “Details” and “Buy Now” on the .po file, and the Easy Digital Downloads comes a 100% translated for Portuguese… But still showing this two buttos in English… There is a Way to Translate those? Thank You.

1. Actually you can change the account icon color for the logged-in status by the following custom CSS, it’s not hard.

.logged-in #site-icons a:first-child{color:#2196f3!important;}

You can put the custom CSS into the style.css of your child theme or DGWork options > Custom Code > Custom CSS.

2. You should change the EDD checkout setting in Products > Settings > Misc tab, check “Enable AJAX” and “Redirect to Checkout” options.

3. If you are not in a hurry, I will add this feature in the next version. Once I found the solution, I will release it.

4. Because those button text is generated by the ThemeVan Shortcodes plugin, so you should translate the plugin language, just recommend Loco translation plugin that you can translate the text in WP admin.

Thanks a lot, You guys are the best! Just let me know when the updates come out!! One more thing, how can i update the theme? There is a update available and i dont update yet. I never did it before and i dont want loose my settings on Word Press… Thank you again.

I hope I will release the new version in this week, but I can’t 100% promise you, I will fix all issues and new features that as soon as possible.

Automatic updates should work like a charm if you install Envato WordPress Toolkit plugin.
