I’m not suggest you do that, because it will cause another layout issue.
I think the content load issue may caused the other reason, for example, a plugin conflict with the theme and so on.Could you send your link first?

1. The slider picture issue on mobile devices is related with your settings in “Revolution slider”, you should set the slider to “Responsive”. Generally, the slider is not the part of the theme, so in most cases, you should find the reason in the plugin (Slider) setting.
2. Could you post a screenshot for the question page? I’m not quite understand.
3. I guess your settings in backend is wrong. You should add portfolio posts via “Portfolios > Add portfolio” with featured image, then, create a new page with portfolio archive page template, please note, don’t use “portfolio” to be the page slug.
If you still can’t manage to set it up, please post your wordpress login details with private reply.

If they are caused by the custom codes, I think I’m hard to help you fix it(this kind of issue is out of the support, because I don’t familiar with your code and logic) but it sounds really like caused by custom code, because you said the demo site is working fine.Thanks!

For the second issue, I tried to check it on safari, chrome and firefox, the menu is nothing changed when I switch the page.
