So, I wanna make sure you or your hosting provider has been limited the images download speed?
Anyway, I changed a little of the single-portfolio.php file, and how about now?

Please Go to and check settings > reading > Front page displays > A static page(select below) > Posts page, don’t select anything please, just leave it empty.Thanks

Did you created the blog page as the following ways?
One solution: Create a page, name it to “Blog”, select masonry blog page template.
Another solution: Go to Posts > Categories, create a new category, named to Blog, and select “Masonry blog” template, then add this category to the menu.If it’s still showing as the normal layout, please tell me your wordpress login details with private reply (I remember you have told me, but I can’t find it).

Maybe the new version of visual composer has been changed the some HTML makeup, not sure.
Is it possible to send me the screenshot for showing the question part?I have tested the theme under visual composer 4.3, my demo looks normal.
